To feel the breeze of wind creeping across your skin,
your muscles straining one by one,
stretching as you move.
The smell of the air around you.
The people passing by,
The flickering light along the street.
The pulsing of traffic lights,
And I'd almost forgotten how fragile life is.
And that every moment I spend breathing is a silent celebration.
That this very moment,
I exist, I live.
yet it will not last forever,
and one day,
this entire experience,
life, will fade,
as will I.
But yet that day has not come,
so I must seize what I have till then.
